As people increase, the land diminishes,
Dwellings rise upon dwindling plots,
The Earth, oscillating between excess rain and drought,
Changes with each passing day. Unchecked intrusion invades farmland and forests,
Illegitimate structures rise,
Air pollution breeds the outbreak of diseases,
The multiplication of misery unfolds. Greenspaces and wild thickets,
Once vital to existence,
The environment's friendly, cool breeze,
Is no longer what it used to be. Birdsongs are fading into silence,
Nests are emptying,
The frequent tremors of the Earth's upheaval,
Persist in the cycle of existence. Mineral wealth is extracted carelessly,
Without concern for sustenance,
Riverbanks erode, causing landslides,
Danger escalates progressively.
